JBM manufactures ECO BOLT and ECO VOLT Li-ion battery solutions for electric buses and wider EV applications, built on pouch and prismatic cells in a highly optimised, modular and compact pack design.
Systems scale from 120 kWh to 500 kWh, built from modules of 20 to 42.7 kWh. A pack measures 1060 x 660 x 240 mm, weighs 202 ± 5 kg, uses 1.5 litres of coolant and carries an IP68 rating against dust and water ingress.
Yes. Every pack has a built-in smart BMS compatible with high-voltage, high-power requirements, monitoring cell state, temperature and safety conditions in real time — central to keeping the pack safe and efficient.
JBM specifies an end-of-life threshold of 80% capacity, meaning the pack is designed to still deliver 80% of rated capacity at the end of its defined service life. Fast-charging Li-ion cells reduce vehicle downtime between duty cycles.
JBM Li-ion batteries are certified to AIS-038 Rev-02 and UN38.3, the standards covering electric powertrain vehicle safety and safe transport of lithium batteries respectively.
Beyond electric buses, JBM’s high-performance Li-ion batteries are used in energy storage systems, marine and RV applications, backup power and solar installations, where they replace conventional lead-acid batteries.
